Smokin' Ade Wakelin

The current band includes the legendry Bob Lamb on drums, Andy Taylor, Bass and Joey Godfrey on keyboards.

Ade also plays a regular duo with Steve Ajao.

Ade has just recorded a new studio album called "Goin' Down That Road", which is being released on 30 July.

Ade's early influences were based on the British blues boom of the 1960's. However, he quickly discovered that Green, Clapton et al were just playing Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Buddy Guy and "The Three Kings" Freddie, BB and Albert.

Ade is currently listening to and being inspired by players like Jimmie Vaughan, Ronnie Earl, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, early BB King, T-Bone Walker, Freddie King and Jack de Keyzer.
